For Members
As Members of the Reproductive Freedom Caucus, your offices—and particularly your staff members who interface directly with constituents—may be confronted with requests for assistance with reproductive rights and health matters. The resources below may help you identify and properly direct those requests.
If a constituent is a potential storyteller interested in sharing their experience, please see House Democrats “Share Your Story” Portal which can be linked to your website. Additional resources are available via the full Democratic Leader Share Your Story Resource Hub.
If a constituent is a potential whistleblower seeking assistance with a possible violation of their rights, the Office of the Whistleblower Ombuds has multiple resources to support your staff in properly working with potential whistleblowers. These include 101, Do’s and Don’ts, and health care fact sheets, as well as trainings, and guidance documents.
If a constituent is seeking direct assistance from a caseworker on a reproductive health or rights issue, please see the Caseworker Resources and District Office Services available through the House of Representatives. To request specific caseworker training on handling reproductive rights and other sensitive health care calls, fill out this form.
